Bigger wheels - does it make a difference?

My t2 camper is running on 15inch wheels
Will going up to 16/17 really make a difference to engine revs, mpg, speed?
If so, what tyre size to go with? I'm thinking 16inch would look better than 17

Where can I get 16inch wheels that suit and fit with no modification?

I've found upping the tyre size sorted out my van no end, cruises at 60 very happily now. Went from 185 70 14 at the back to 195 70 15. Not a huge difference (60mph to 64mph at the same revs) but it's really noticeable through the gears. I'd go bigger but the tyres are good which came with the steelies.

There's a difference:Bigger tires and wheels are better for increasing your vehicle's traction. Changing to larger tires with an improper sidewall height can cause damage to your vehicle's suspension system, wheels, and the tires themselves, and can run the risk of incorrect speedometer readings.
