n00b alert!!!

Hi all

Been a lurker for some time now but never go round to registering.

Anyways now I have a 2000 Subaru 2.5 SOHC Manual sitting in the workshop it is time to get involved and start looking at converting my T25 DG and the ins and outs.
Although am not a trained spanner monkey I have always worked on my own cars and quite happy to tackle most things.

Now from my understanding the first job will be to replace the head gaskets, seals, oil pump and cam belt while the engine is out on the engine stand.
Second will be to get the harness out and sent off to Richard for him to work his magic.
This will keep me going for a while so in the meantime I was hoping if anybody out there have any words of wisdom and/or any reference to guides ect that I should be studying?

Any help/guidance would be most welcome
