I'm sat at the side of the A34 waiting for the RAC to arrive as I've just had a fire in my '71 Dormobile. Gutted. No idea yet what went wrong but all new R9 hoses so suspect oil leak. Fire was underneath near exhaust.
Anyhow, looks like a water cooled option is the way to go. Just want a reliable power source to enjoy family camping trips without the continued worry.
Does anyone offer a complete conversion service rather than DIY? I'm based near Newbury.
Thanks
Steve

| Loving the way the forum automatically changed 'lawn mower' to lawn mower. That's hilarious! |

What water cooled engine are you thinking of?
Read the title I see you want a Subaru.
Guy in Guildford spannerboy does conversions. No idea to the quality.
Obviously stay away from TSR.
What gearbox are you going to use? Stock? _________________ Think......

No TSR? Not read anything about them yet but seen their ads.
Gearbox is an 1800 5 rib.
Cheers

Plenty on the net about TSR.
Guy on here "flower van" or something. He's had one done by them. Also I know a guy that sued them and got his money back on Germanlook.net.
I've only seen pictures of there work but do your own research on them.
So are you intending on keeping your original box? It's important to know which route your going.
I went subarugears with mine which was miles better then the Porsche 915 I originally went with. _________________ Think......
