Gearbox ratios

Hi I'm in the process of collecting parts to do a tdi convertion on my t25 coach built . I have a mk3 golf with the 1z engine.
I'm now looking for a Passat gearbox but the question I have is what code box would be best to get .
If any one could shed any light that would be great .

I think all ratios are fine...

I get almost 2500 rpm at 120 kilometer per hour. 110bhp passat 1998 box. DHL code.

Keep in mind, that if gears are too long, you wont be able to drive in 5th gear. See the topic in Kool rides section by Easy-does-it.

when the van is heavy, 5th is just too long for the engine to pull.
