| hi all is there anyone out there who has a converted bay running on audi diesel flipped box that i could have a look at .I live in bromsgrove and would like to see what it looks like in the flesh as i am considering converting my bay.Any info would be much appreciated.cheers megabus |

Hello mate .. So far i havnt come across anyone on the net that has finished the conversion into a bay.
Don't know if you've seen, but myself and Wilfred have started putting it together.. If you havnt ,my fun starts on page 12 of my build _________________ '76 bay going superfly TDI |

I know a chap with two flipped Passat/Audi boxed early bays both running TDI power. He is/we are in Ireland though...

Let me know if you find anyone local, I too plan on doing this to my bay (once I've built my garage...) and I live in Pershore, would be great to meet! _________________ It WILL be ready for the summer, just like it was going to be ready for last summer. And the one before that... |

| ok dude will keep you posted if i find someone,in the meantime I'm trying to research the best way to tackle each aspect of the conversion.things like cooling setup.clocks/electrics.best engine box to use.engine mounts.gear selector/stick for 5 gears.engine angle to use in a bay . oh too many variables,maybe ill stick with the aircooled lump!!!! nah just joking .... |

| I'm fitting a 110 afn and flipped box in mine at the moment. I'm in Worcester if you want to see how my cooling system is set up. Been running an mtdi for the last 5 years on modified gearbox but in the process of changing it for passat running gear. |
