Hi e everybody been a bay owner for many years and now had enough of low power and breaking down you know the coo. Now just starting my dream a 21 window 64 split. I have looked at the adapter plate to vw box but went for the suburagears reverse crownwheel conversion. With there box and engine crossmember. If the build goes as smooth as the sale from todd in oz then ill be well happy. I am taking detailed photos ov the build and what im doing to help others if possible.

If you've got a ty754 gearbox.... Make sure you use the Subaru speed sensor, I've been trying for years to get my cable driven one to work with no success. Swapped it the other day and it's transformed a car that wasn't so quick to being very quick. the same sensors can be used in the earlier ty752 boxs too.

I recently finished my Subaru gears swap recently.... Very pleased with it over my porsche 915. Make sure you do something with the oil dip stuck tube otherwise the spinning crown wheel floods oil out of the tube. I've extended mine with a hose and stuck the Subaru dip stick into the end. Seems to work.

Don't go up rated clutch. Euro car parts will sell them, it's an exceedy friction plate.

If you need custom drive shafts then cps drive link up north are a good company that'll friction weld your existing shafts.

Lol I'm venting. Best of luck with your conversion. You won't look back..... Or go back to lawn mower so chop it up Happy

Oh and expect a customs charge coming your way from TNT
