1) does the ICV need hot water passing it? I'm going to remove the heating from the TB.
2) do I need to connect the crankcase breather to the inlet air or can I just connect from the crankcase to the valve in the manifold?
3) do I need the air resonator box to connect the ICV air pipe or can it just be connected to the inlet after the MAF?
Am I ok to lengthen wires going to the ICV and TB ( flipping the manifold)

94 ej20 t engine!

1) no, just bypass it all or block the relevant inlet/outlet.

2) can be vent to atmosphere no problem. It's connected to the inlet to be Eco friendly.

3) no, just connect it anywhere along the air intake.

4) no need to lengthen the wires. Unwrap the engine wiring harness loom and get the addition length out of the loom.

Mines left in place. It all vents into a catch can which is venting to atmosphere.

Out of interest. I've just swapped back to the stock Subaru dump valve and ecu. I'll probably have a forge vent to atmosphere dump valve for sale. Have a few z4 ecu's too. You sorting your own loom out?

I've got a z4 ecu but may be interested in the dump valve depending on the price. I'm too chicken to do the wiring strip down so was going to send it to Richard at rjes.
Out of interest why are you going back to oe on the subaru stuff?

I'll have a think about the price. I will shift it though as in my old age I'm becoming a horder and doubt I'll go back to the vent to atmosphere valve. The reason I went back to stock was because I'd read tat for performance it's best to run a recirculating valve. Loads of info out there for the reasons why. Plus I was getting fed up with the sound. I know I'm not selling it to you but it's a personal choice at the end of the day and for me a vent to atmosphere just doesn't cut it for me. Consequently, be it that I had a few hours in the garage I've changed to the stock set up recirculating valve, stock z4 ecu and fixed the speed sensor which has transformed the car. Fixing the faulty speed sensor no doubt was the biggest improvement but the car is now rapid! Quickest it's ever been..... Not a touch on my BMW but it's gaining. But the engine is now stock (was told realistically it'll be 240bhp and so from here the only way is up..... New injectors, bigger fuel pump, map sensors and a remap should see it to 320/340bhp which'll be the limit of my TD05 turbo.
