mine are three under 7.
what revisions to the steering are you doing i thought of the power steering mod is that a good idea? not having driving the bus for a while now Laugh Out Loud .

rear hubs have now been turned down for disc conversion, ineed to get a servo/master cylinder yet and make caliper carriers.

3 Kids under seven 2 under eight is more than I can cope with Grin

The steering was a bit vague which I'm hoping was due to a bit of play in the system and was never happy with how the new idler fitted to the original idler pin so had a new idler pin made that allows you to clamp the idler down also added a rose joint instead of the rubber one so fingers x'd it is a lot better now test drive next week when I get back from holibobs.

As for the electric power steering that is ace well worth it.

fan surrounds are coming on.

pic 1 radiators sit behind these so airflow has to come though radiator
pic 2 template holes are for left and right.
pic 3, need some help with coolant pipes, ones in blue are heater, green?
one with red not coolant?
pic 4 only intend to run rear heater and add front later, not a complete circuit .

latest.....pop top has been leaking so repair panel on way, also received package today of an adjustable corsa column.

been reading on ssvc a thread about Gerry the split screen..wow that has some serious repair welding... check it out.

rear brake caliper bracket version three lines up just some caliper spacers to make or use thick washers.

took the fuel tank out and found rusty holes underneath the strenghteners...repaired those, mocked the rear seat up.

kids washed the green of it to, so back to orange again.

as to the pop top do i get some fibre glass a remake the glass surround so the glass can be bonded in or leave as rubber seal

Go with bonded windows.....that's exactly what I'm doing with my dormy pop top as they always leak from the rubbers.

having looked at mine inbetween the rain how are you thinking of doing yours (i would love to make a complete new style one- just don't have the time, house move coming up fast).

1, lay it on top with an extended side
2, push window towards the middle and remake the sides longer.
3, remake the window opening so it tilts down from the middle

2+3 would seem good
