VW T3 Doka for sale

For sale a 1981 Transporter T3 Doka, LHD V6 Cologne engine.

I brought this pickup with the intention of sharing it with my wife and using it as our family run-around, I must having been smoking crack at the time. My wife has got more chance of learning to drive the Titanic than she has this old bus. Having said that the steering is tight as a drum and due to the new shockers it corners exceptionally well. But alas, I think left hookers are out for us.
I've owned the van for less than a week (two days at the writing of this) but I think in reality we need a diesel estate car with seat belts in the rear for the kids (don't worry I've still got the T5 and my crosser!). Here is the original ad which persuaded me to buy it-

1981 T25 Doka twin cab. The original diesel engine has been replacedwith a cologne V6 2.8 litre engine, the engine change has been recorded on theV5 document.

The vehicle was rebuilt and re-sprayed last year with thenew parts too numerous to list in full but including:

New wheels and tyres (18”MSW rims and 225 45 ZR nankanetyres with less than 2000 miles on)
New carpets
Recaro sports seat front and rear matching
New heavy springs and shocks (rear shocks, gasadjustable)
Re-wired
New fuel pump
Bumpers (front and rear)
New radiator
New front to rear water cooling pipes
Tinted glass
Re-panelled drop sides

Before the vehicle was sprayed all rust was dealt with. Where panels were still available they were replaced and the panels that weren’t available they were fabricated. The respray was ok but not the best and someareas may need revisiting.
