Another question. Has anyone fitted spax adjustable shocks from another car manufacturer? Mk1 escort rears or jag e-type or old mini??
Seem to go for less money on fleabay? And I'm looking to stiffen the rear of my t2 77 bay.
Cheers in advance.

Brought some of eBay there for an mgb rear they fit a treat. there spax and adjustable soft to firm.
They extend to 41cm and collapse to 27cm eye holes are 12.5mm. Before you buy some measure the bolt holes without a shock fitted and on level ground to make sure there's enough movement in the shocks. The van is quite low but these worked for me and they only cost £50!

Sweet, i asked back in may last year if anyone had tried anything else, and never got a response.
It's good to see you took the plunge, how are they out on the road?

I bought some AVO adjustables for th back of mine and so far they've been pretty good...32 different stiffness setting which is a bit over kill but has really firmed the arse up which was bottoming out big time with standard shocks.

Got them from here

Part Number AV-TB442

Look like these
