Here is a turbo pump off a EJ20(98) fitted to a EJ22(94), fits no problems. I removed the excess pipes and drill/tapped for B.S.P.T plugs

Brill, cheers guys
Mackaymanx, thanks for the photo and tips. I'll be in a bit of a hurry and will probably loop those extra inlets together. _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

I think you are missing the point...
The purpose of the spacer and extra hose is to expose the thermostat purely to the hot bypass flow and give it some distance from the cold return pipe. This system was designed to make sure that the thermostat opened at the correct time in cold climates where the bypass and return effectively mixed and lowered the temperature the thermostat sees, even tho this spacer only moves the stat a small amount it is apparently enough... _________________ http://www.ricola.co.uk |

Sorry for taking this off at a tangent again. The turbo pump and housing has sorted my dilemma.
Just done approx 700 miles. Engine/cooling/exhaust glitch free. Shame my IGN switch has packed up on the "start" posn _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
