The rubber oil return hose ive been using keeps perishing, so i want to try a steel over braided hose. But which is better, steel over nitrile rubber or steel over PTFE.. or is there something else i should be looking at?

I'm personally using the standard Subaru one, can you not pick one up from subaru or eBay?
Thinking about it, do you monitor your oil temps as if they are consistany higher than standard then I'd imagine that will help with perishing the line. |

I can't use the standard one as i've relocated the turbo to the front of the engine as it's mounted in a camper.. _________________ '76 bay going superfly TDI |

| Hydraulic heat resistant hoses. I use them all the time. |

| Ah fair enough. As sven says, i would go to a hydraulic specialist like pirtec, they will give sound advise. |
