Anyone seen these?

I've seen them having a bit of a bashing on some other forums. I can kind of see why as I can't imagine they are much use for lawn mower motors due to the fact that the airflow is generated by a fan. I've also seen in said on here that the rear vents do not act as air scoops for this very reason.

It occured to me that these could help airflow through the engine bay and help lower the engine bay temperature. I know my engine bay gets very warm. Any thoughts?

Bit more subtle than a most scoops and easily removable at least.

I have ordered a set for my CitroBay. I have put two rads in the engine bay and would like a little more airflow, esp at low speed.

Cheers for the reply, let us know how you get on. I've also ordered some so when they arrive I'll let you know how they perform - can't do any harm I reckon.

It seems as if there is some airflow into the engine bay even with the standard vents. It seems my issue may be getting rid of it! I've fitted a hatch in the panel above the engine and with this unclipped once I hit around 50-60mph the hatch lifts up a good 6-8" - presumably because of the air pressure in the engine bay.

I thought I'd make my engine lid "stand off" (similar to the way they do on bugs) to help release this air when moving.

i might take some holes behind the licence plate to get some more airflow out from the engine bay.
