Hi guys, I'm creating this topic because I'd like to find out what sort of fuel supply system can be done in a Beetle.
I've made 2 schematics and want to know what you think about them - what your ideas are.
Version 1 without a swirl tank:

Version 2 with a swirl tank:

I'm not sure about the '3rd manifold outlet' line going to swirl tank, if there is more 'air' then fuel it probably should go to main fuel tank which 'breathes'.

I like Rcola's tank set up a lot, yours look as good as his. I was just a bit concerned about cutting fuel tank it's got to be done properly and in my case it means that I need someone to do this for me - I'm not a welder.
I've spoken to a friend of mine yesterday and he mentioned his neighbour who welds motorcycle fuel tanks so fingers crossed I'll have my tank done and the pump will go inside Happy
If that happens I just run 2 8mm fuel lines under the car and can use the Beetle fuel line for the third Subaru 'breathe' line.
For people who don't want or have no option to cut their tanks I'd suggest to keep it simple (I'd do it). For normal everyday driving I'd use the set up of 'version 1' (schematics):

or with a swirl tank:

These just are my suggestions but I think they are ok.
I'd like to thank Joel, his topic on auusievw forum is very helpful and as usual Richard (RJES) his website's packed with lots of very useful info - cheers.
