Can anybody tell me what the torque setting is for the bolts that attach the inlet manifold to cylinder heads? 1999 EJ20 16v NA
Can I also attach the three 13mm breather pipe, that go to the induction pipe together and enter them into the induction pipe as one?

Righto, as nobody else could be bothered to answer this I had to go trawling through my engine manual to find the answer. Not that I've had my manifold off and am on the reassembly process or nothing.
Inlet manifold bolts should be torqued up to 27-35nm
I couldn't find the water manifold torque settings but u would have an educated guess they must be at 15-20nm
I'm guessing you've sussed out your breathers now? _________________ Think......

Kai
Thanks, for answer. I have US Legacy manual and the torque wrench setting its quotes for the inlet manifold is something ridiculous (wrong), so I asked the Subaru garage and they gave me the correct figure.
Thanks anyway |
