98 Subaru 2.2-is it the same as an EJ22?

I'm new and looking for as much help as I can get. I'm putting in a 2.2 with a T# automatic trans in a 74 super beetle. 1st, is a 2.2 the same as an EJ22? 2nd, wiring harness diagram to do the cutting. 3rd, HELP. THANKS

An EJ22 is a 2.2

Wiring diagram isn't essential - cut out anything that doesn't go to the ECU or a part connected to it, ie fuel pump relay.
Do you have the doner? It makes life easier

Yes I do have a doner car. I would like to have a diagram and a pin diagram for the ecu.
