Been reading through a few posts on here and the cold start circuit keeps popping up.
I was curious as to which vehicles would have a cold start, mine a 98 uk turbo impreza engine doesn't appear to have one on the ecu pinout i have.
Does it need one or shouldit have onw?
Thanks for yor help in advance.
Ian.

Should have been connected to your starter motor on the Subaru.

It's not called a cold start on the Subaru wiring diagram though. Think the ecu wiring diagram has it Labeled as starter motor or something. I haven't got my diagram to hand but I'll check for the Subaru terminology.

Look for "Starter Magnet" it's labeled as that quite often. Sorry, only just seen this post
