I have RJES converted loom, there are 2 wires, male and female ends labelled NPS. At the moment i have earthed the black wire . The other wire is not connected to anything. What do i do with this wire ? Its an EG33 loom so it came from an auto box car.

My rjes loom only has one wire with nps on it. Should I earth it anyway or just leave it untill I get a problem?

Cali. Were there instructions from Rich?
I'm gonna 2 nd guess him here.
Grab a meter and buzz out the black wire to an earth tag. You should have continuity. If so join the nps wires together.
Hopefully job done. But you should really speak to rich

Ping, can't see other post now (using phone). Just earth that wire (it won't be black)

Rich did my brothers svx loom and it needed the NPS earthing. Simply connecting the two wires marked nps did it, black is the earth.

Sounds like yours doesn't like the NPS earthed so just leave it unconnected, earthing the black wire is pointless your just earthing an earth.

Rich wires the looms like that for just this reason, some engines like it earthed and some don't.

Have you had it out yet? Lets have a look at some pictures then

If you have no idle issues then just leave it.

Its a stalling problem that is the annoying thing ! It goes well but occasionally when slowing down at the end of a run it stalls . I have a Vehicle speed sensor fitted due to lots of stalling at first. There are no error codes at the moment. I have just had to replace the original EG33 due to a lash adjuster noise, its a good job i had a spare 3.3 ! I will get some photos soon of the beast , its got a pair of sexy silencers !

Im still not sure what wire is put to earth, at the moment i have earthed the black wire and it seems ok , no stalling issues. Some say to plug the 2 NPS wires together but it still did the stalling thing so i earthed the black wire, was that the correct thing to do ?

You confusing me now, you said earlier that you had no stalling issues with nps not earthed.
