thanks guys (and girls if there is any)
currently aligning the engine & box to fit up nice & square, the axles fit awesome, longer than intended but not a problem, allows for suspension travel between slammed & jacked up baja's i guess

idler arm bushing was replaced with brass, thanks topline - that means every single bit of my front end is all new, urethane bushings or solid brass, very adjustable camber from control arms & the strut tops, a few deg extra caster available from the sway bar -and the strut tops, just gotta swap out the idler arm thats in there for this one, should have engine & box solid mounted before i head to bed tonight, fingers crossed Happy

spare time during the day rocks!

4" intakes in the rear guards coming soon, just had to check clearance, thats as low as it could go, with stock bumpstops compressed a little bit, any more & the car would of lifted...

wheel fitment freaks could possibly cream their pants seeing this Grin

more work on the pedals has happened, not post worthy yet, just measuring, aligning, welding, will see once 100% finished & installed

notice something missing??? the creeper! the engine/box are now attached to the pan!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and another...

its gotta drop about 100mm in the back yet, believe it or not that keeps it above legal still & the sump will be 40mm higher up than the stand thats on it now Grin Grin Grin
water/oil thingo has to say bye bye but thats no major issue, departure angle shouldnt be an issue either and theres room to squeeze in an exhaust thats more than 3ft long after all, but only just, lots of metal work now....

or perhaps put all the stuff back on the engine with new seals etc & fire it up..... maybe

quick query for all you conversion genius's...

can i delete that line from the pump to the cooler & into the block completely without any adverse effects or not, and is that the way it would flow or is it the other way around?

id love to know soon cos im making my own sump... and its gunna be as big as i can get while remaining as far off the ground as possible & that line will cut alot of capacity out if it stays help

BUMP!!!!!

a lil bit of research suggests if i block the outlet on the pump and plug the block like it is no the other side this will work just fine provided an external cooler is added, which is obviously my intention.

does anyone have pics of the bottom of an EJ with the water pump with different outlets & the blank plug where the coolant line comes from the block?

VISUAL things are a happenin!

thought you conversion/fab freaks might like to see this, its taken alot of thought to work out what im up to but it should hold plenty, not have surge issues and wont matter if it hits the road, also a handy jacking point up the back Grin

After the release of dismal jobs report, the Federal Reserve said that it would consider further efforts to jump-start the country's economic recovery. Its plans for that economic stimulus effort were made public.
