WRX powered Aussie german looker

G'day guys,

Only just found this site, so thought I would show u my Conversion.
1971 Superbug (1302) with a 1994 WRX engine. i've owned the car for 19 years & the Subaru Engine has been in since December 2004. it's clocked over 155'000klms (96'000miles) & has been an excellent project.
it's my daily driver & also a track car. Heres some incar footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5oONJigD_I . I only run wastegate pressure on the turbo, so with 8pounds boost I have 204hp & 221ft torque @ the wheels. I get 39mpg & it can be the most docile thing u have ever driven or it can stand the hairs on your back on end.

It takes the kids to school & can top out at 245kph (152mph). It's having your cake & eating it too. LOL.
rear brakes are Ford Falcon, front brakes are Nissan R32 GTR. I also run 16x6.5 inch Nissan wheels on the track with R-Spec tyres.
Front radiator sits on an angle in the spare wheel well, with another smaller radiator on top for the water to air intercooler (or as some of u say, chargecooler) I still have the whole standard superbug luggace space in the front. gearbox is a L-Bug (1303) box but with kombi gears inside as they are course teeth & have a tall 0.82 4th gear.

Aftermarket engine management system is an Aussie made Microtech which has been faultless.

I've just given the paint & interior a freshen up as it's was last done in 1993 & was showing it's age.
