More progress..
I've made an air flow sensor bracket thingy, so i can it a different filter to that boring box;
Found some Ford radiators;
Removed the old lawn mower lump;
I wonder why the clutch was slipping...
Hopefully get the gearbox out next week and fabricate a second fuel tank to house the subaru fuel pump..

Think I've got to start planning what i do more.. Iv got lots of half finished jobs, which is getting confusing.
Anywho..
Gearbox is out and is bolted up to the RJES bellhousing, just need a release bearing and clutch and i can join it up to the engine.
Finished making a second small fuel tank to house the Subaru fuel pump.
Sorry about the crappy pic.. but you get the idea.
I also found a hole in the main fuel tank.. When putting the seats in the back I must have accidentally put a screw right through the tank... safe!
.. problem solved
Still not made much progress on the wiring loom.. going to see a guy about it tomorrow if he's in. Hopefully get the engine in soon.

Wiring loom is now sorted, yesterday I went through the loom with this guy who makes his own Subaru ECU's for the rally cars which was a great help
I've also ordered new clutch components so I'll hopefully get the engine in soonish! |
