Throttle position sensor

I kind of have my engine up and running but i have the error code for the throttle position sensor. Has anyone else had this problem?
If so how can i sort it?
Also how should it be set?
I had to take it off to put the manifold reverser on and not sure where the home position is as it has slotted holes and there is a spring, so should there be any tension.

Engine is a 2litre from a 97 legacy.
