Someone had a busy weekend then - Deva Dubs and Rods for me - good show .
Trying to finish a bay window and do work on samba so slow progress on both !!!!

Need to pull my finger out !!

managed to get 3 hours tonight after work and shes getting there...slowly....

got the outer sill and sill strengthener welded together...opted to seam weld rather than plug weld because of the power that will be going through her...cant afford any broken welds...







probably the wrong way of doing it but seeing as i need and have ordered a short sill repair and a b post repair i put the outer sill on so i know where it should sit....







next came the other chassis centre......

well the old one out....







its amazing that this was 'new' but behind it was a dirty big hole!!! so i welded it up





Then after fixing this in went the new one...





well thats all till the next time i get a chance...

right.....had a couple of hours again.....

out with the old rusty out rigger,.....



and again some crusty bits behind it....





in with the new.....

next the front.....







and amazing the first one with no crust behind it....



and the new one goes in.....










then an attempt on the front top hat before i run out of time...i will finish cutting this out tomorrow.....
