Stopped working?

sounds exactly the same as mine was. it'll probably be an air lock, as theyre a real barsteward to blead. take off the hose that goes to the stat, shove a hosepipe up it til it gets to the radiator and flush the system through for about 5 minutes with the top off the reservoir.
how have you rigged up your heater pipes? they need to flow so if you havent got a heater just loop them, then stick the stat back in. _________________ '72 Ratty Bug - Subaru EJ20 Turbo motor. |

you cant run these engines without a thermostat
the computer uses the coolant temp to control the fuel mixture
with no stat and a huge cooling system like in abug it would never be getting up to temp
so the computer would be running a richer mixture most of the time
be like driving around with the choke on all day
my bet is heater loop not connected or air locks _________________ 1974 1303 Germanlook Suba-Beetle
