|
|
I've just experienced the sheer euphoria of my van starting for the first time!
I havn't had a fusebox for a few months, so havn't been able to test the electrics. Refitted the fuse box today, heard the glowplug relay cut in so thought i'd try giving it a turn - low and behold it fired up in seconds! chuffed to bits and slightly shocked. this van's become the butt of the jokes with many of my mates over the last few years! he who laughs last and all that! |

Cheers all! I've taken a few piccies along the way - just gotta get them all uploaded and i'll do a thread some time this week. Gave it another run today and noticed it's leaking a little bit of water - looks like the spring clips I've used aren't providing enough bite. Also two of the little fuel return tubes were perished and pissed out alot of diesel! fixed now - just gotta give the brakes an overhaul and get the electrics sorted and it'll be booked in for an MOT! Can't wait!
Bus is down in Dorset at the mo, been living here for the last 18months but hopefully i'll be moving back up to Bristol when i can get a decent job!
Cheers |
