Hi guys well I've been beavering away all winter, I've got my brake and steering conversion all done, an interior and now I've turned to the ever ongoing task of welding and body work!!

Unfortunatly I ran out of cash so over the last few months I've build from scratch 2x front wheel arches, 2x bottoms of cab doors, bottom 10" of my sliding door, 1x1ft square hole in the cab floor and many smaller patches skatered across the van!!!!! Any ways Its nearly all done and ready for an MOT. Still got loads of finishing off to do ie bit of filler-I just wanna get her on the road and being used first!

I've got picks so I'll ping some up soon! Anyways I'm turning my attention to the back of the bus next- to do the rear air bag conversion (finaly) and to fit a turbo and intercooler to my engine!

My question is were are you all mouning your intercoolers in your vans?

Cheers for sny help/advice

Alex

Hi al - sounds like youve been busy.

cheap charge cooler is the way to go really - then you can mount a rad in front of your main rad for the best result.

when i was looking at intercooler locations many moons ago i think down next to the gearbox with a scoop was my favoured (where al ot of Air cooled put their oil collers) you still end up with a fairly long intake run though.
