I have been thinking about this recently actually and am looking into options for uploading pictures.. I have written a little application which seems to work just need to check it's secure.

Just sorting the links you sent to me and will keep you posted on uploading pics, but for now just email me (jp@vwkd.co.uk) the pics and I'll send you back the UBB code to put in your posts..

Basically you should be able to upload a pic here then you can copy the UBB code and paste into your post.

This will hopefully be a temporary measure until I work out how to incorporate pic uploading at posting level.

I've tried that app but the screen flashes something with codes for a split second then comes up with . . "change permission to 777 failed"
Might need a little tweek to sort it out....lol

Thanks J.P.... The Covin Forum has grown very well considering there's not that many members etc... I'm quite chuffed.....lol
Feel free to use anything you like on Covin Forum to make life easy for yourself.
If you like why not create the section and then I'll fill in the "Posting picture guide" as I've got more info inside the forum posts I can add to it so it all makes sense.... It's no problem m8.... Once it's done you can make it a "Sticky" and "LOCKED" Then all test posts or cock ups in that section can be deleted once users get the hang of things....
I'll even volunteer to look after this section and help members who have problems posting as I'm on this computer every day and have covered the topic often on Covin forum.....lol

By the way... I've just got a big bottle of gas for welder today so Camper work is about to begin again....

This sounds like a very interesting bit of kit. Am I right in thinking members will no longer need to use photobucket and can upload their own pics direct from their computer to VWKD webspace ? If so you'll have to ensure pictures are not to big....

I'll get working on the Picture posting guide tonight J.P...

You're right about pic sizes this app does allow large files I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it.. may be able to add some sort of size restriction. Yes this is basically a VWKDBucket Grin

Nice little APP there J.P . . . I'd be interested in that myself. Well done m8 it's a cracking idea.

We'll have to edit the Test Zone to include this option once it's all sorted out so let's know.
It would be nice if it could be setup with a MAX file size of say 150k ?
This app will be ideal as it's very easy to use and should be a big help to members who have a little trouble with computers.
