I tried offering up a boxa S box on mine (as I had a aftermarket loud one on my boxa Grin and was surplus) was no way it was gonna fit with my dirty derv Sad

Shame it'll be hidden as looks sweet.. what does it sound like ? or do we have that to look forward to

loving the clean shiny engine , i wish i had done mine but i wanted to try it out before i spent hours/weeks cleaning. i think mine will come out in the winter and spend some time in the garage.
i feel sorry for you with the hand, i had a similar expieriance when doing mine, i was half way through my swap and i broke my elbow then i had to wait 8 weeks before i could get under the van again by which time the winter weather had set in.
looking good though
keep up the hard work

You did a good job on that engine.
What did you use to clean up the engine block?

hi mate
just used a general de greaser then wire brush in a drill to get rid of stubborn muck then give it a coat of high temp engine paint , the vans up and running now but my computer crashed and its resulted in me losing all the photos of the build so i cant post anymore on there , a bit gutted but thats life i suppose
