That rad fits nicely.
Have you done a conversion before?
Love the dog's coat. I think Fudge (the dog that Covin helps out) could do with summat like that. _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

this is my first conversion,...that splitty bus thing is a schoolbus with 2 rooms on top.i live in it. so i cut the apron out today and made a front scoop.im leaving the air pumper in till the last, till all the plumbing is done.the limo has to do a wedding next week.im going to mount the rad and then start running the plumbing.through all my research i havent learned what way the coolent flows?does it take water from the top or bottem,91 ej22.i asume it flows from the pump out the top of engine to top of rad then sucks from the bottem of rad when the thurmostat opens. sound good?the limo is a door longer then stock. hope that doesnt efect coolent flow. cool place,i like it here. _________________ just do it! |

The water leaves the block from the top manifold, into the rad and then returns via the thermostat.
You do know you have to connect the two heater pipes up on the block?
Here's my setup:
You'll be pushing it to get it ready for next week! _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.

yes,for the heater question.ive read that you have to use the right
mm line to.not to big ,not to small.thankx for so much onfo.does
hot water enter the rad from the top?or bottem?in a bug.ej22.
my next search of picts is to see if everyone is using
a reverse coolent pipe under the intake manifold.ive seen them for
sale.but i want to see if i can just switch it,maybe notch the block?
or if i have to ill take it to my mates to do the aluminium welding.
how sharp can the bend be in a coolent line?the one to the stat is
a 90 from subaru.ill post picts of my scoop when i can get some help
im not so good on this elektrik box thankx for helping! _________________ just do it! |

15mm ID pipe for the heater cct. You can double it straight back to the 'stat if you want to.
I'll stress again that you need to do this.
SubaruBoxer on Aussie Veebubbers has a reversed manifold on his excellent Scooby bug.
http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=35720#pid526463
Jorgen just cut the manifold and used some Samco hose, be sure to create a "lip" to hold the hose.
The hot from the engine goes into the rad at the top, cool water comes out from the bottom of the rad (as shown above)
Cold water's denser than hot so you use this to your advantage. _________________ The advice you receive on here is worth the paper it's written on.
