| hi thought i would share my find today at scrap yard looking for a cheap air to oil cooler to keep temp down on my 1.9td splity? vauhall frontera petrol!!!! oil sandwich plate unscreweds of oil pump leaving you with a oil sandwich plate which will fit most modern engines under oil filter, it even has a built in oil thermostat! it came with a set of swagged rubber hoses with nice angled fittings and a rather large alloy oil cooler even better £10 the lot! |

I think the VW 1.9 turbo-diesel engine, has the same sized oil-filter mounting, as the VW Type 4 style air-cooled engine.
