If, like me you have spent a long time grafting in a proper lift pump into the original fuel tank, or you have spent a lot of money on swirl pots etc or your just having problems with fuel starvation then you will no doubt be wishing you had waited a bit longer and got one of these!!! i certainly do....
I just saw this in PPC mag and checked it out - a very decent price (not a great deal more than an inline pump would cost) for what looks like a very useful product for us converters...

i havent read the spec sheet yet but ill certainly be using one of these in my morris project even if it is too late for the van! |

I saw that but will reserve judgement until I see dimensional and fitting info. To me it looks no easier than fitting a donor set-up and you'll always have the problem of matching sender info to existing instruments... _________________ http://www.ricola.co.uk |

I saw that in PPC too, and agree with ricola. Unless you're building a fuel tanks from scratch, it does not look very practical to me. If you are it's reasonable value, but why not just use the one from the engine donor vehicle instead. You'd probably get it for practically nothing if you bought it at the same time as the engine.
My guess is that it will almost certainly be a unit developed for some kind of production car, to which Webcon have the design rights. I doubt they've invested in all the tooling just for aftermarket use. Having said that, I suppose there may be a bigger market in small volumes such as kits and formula racers? _________________ Regards,
