Hello Simon,
They certainly fit bays pre and post the 1972 ish changes. I also checked out my mates '68 when I was developing the mount. The others I worked on were a '74 and a '71, and I still have all the photo's of them which I took for reference. Non had the same chassis rails as a splitty (the splitty I have access to / photo's of is a '67), and all were only parallel for the back 18" or so. Forward of that they all crank inwards and down. The chassis rails themselves are the same on the three bays I looked at while developing the mounts, and also the same as the '76 and '78 bays I have had in the past.
All the bay chassis rails were a closed box section at for the whole length, while the splitty ones are closed for the back 18" or so, the change to an open 'C' section.
If you want to be sure, e-mail me some photo's of your bay chassis rails, but to my knowledge, all bay chassis rails are the same. _________________ Regards,
