VOLKSWAGEN CARAVELLE
2.2 SUBARU CONVERSION
1983 Y reg
Full 12 months MOT (29/04/2009)
Full 6 months TAX
I bought this last August as a project, it had no engine at all. I have done a proffesional Subaru conversion, I am a motor mechanic by trade with 14 years experience. The bell housing and engine mounting bar were bought from Richard Jones. The engine came from a 1993 SUBARU LEGACY 2.2 16valve automatic. The engine has done just under 90k with full service history to prove. It has a BHP of 136. I have uprated the brake system with 312mm front discs and calipers which are vented and 256mm rear discs and calipers, these were off a 2004 AUDI A4 1.8 Turbo. I replaced the clutch. All the metal brake pipes have been replaced. And it has BF Goodridge flexipipes. The steering rack and lower arms have had a polybush kit, it has new trackrod ends and ball joints. 5 speed gearbox.
It also has:
PORCHE 18" alloy wheels, lowered 45mm with H & R springs and with uprated shockers
Brickwerks short shift kit
Big mirrors
Electric windows
Whistle stops
Genuine full metal sunroof
South african grille
Twin headlight conversion
Smoked lights all round
Jailbars
It has had a full interior retrim (including door cards) to match the paintwork, it has PORCHE 911 front seats
It is a metalic green that shimers gold in the sunlight which is a Skoda colour
It has been wax-oiled
The van was featured in ULTRA VW in March 2005
The van is in very good condition all round, the only thing it needs is a boot and rear carpet.
OFFERS AROUND £5500. Danny 07912028971
I will have a go at adding pictures, if not you can send me your email address and I will email them to you. Thanks[/url] |

My opinion is that the T3's are so 80's ugly that they become cool.
And the day when the neighbour guy air slammed is double cab I though they are freekin' awsome! This one looks really good too. |
