| i remember taking about the passat boxes years ago, maybe look at it from a slightley different angle.... from what i remember theres no spare to flip the crownwheel? hence the flipping of the box.... ... |

quick update, flywheel bolts right size (manual) fitted with flywheel and new clutch plate vw 228mm (ordered from richard- great service as always).
going to go for two radiators mounted in the rear ... |

yes long gap, till you have kids you never realise how much time they take (how much fun and joy they give).
