Do it the right way, get a shortened sump and proper exhaust. Far less hassle in the long run

This what I used to mount a 1700(002) kombi box in my Meyers Manx. I did not use the front mount supplied but made my own that bolted on.

It is not the ideal box for this, I have seen a thread on this somewhere so it can be done but there is a lot of extra work involved.

The EJ251 is a MAP sensor motor, which is what that year Legacy should have.

Check the LH VIN plate or the barcode sticker on the timing belt cover for the motor type.

You have to loop 4 to 5.

3 should go to filtered air.
