Thought I'd follow up on this!
The inability to disengage the clutch turned out to be a combination of things - mostly the makeshift master cylinder bracket I'd made was flexing too much, but combine ... |

| Cheers for the replies guys! As I was convinced it was an engine out job I left it at a local garage a mate recommended whilst I went on hols - came back to it all fixed with no need to drop the engin ... |

Looking through the forums this seems like quite a common problem!
Decided I'm gonna have to pull the engine to figure out what's up with the clutch, but just wondered if anyone can tell what adapter ... |

Hi all,
The Pinto powered van I bought last year always had something dodgy going on with the clutch - last year the clutch pedal occasionally went to the floor and wouldn't return, but lifting it up ... |

I've been thinking twin 40's too (or even 45's), but I think the mrs will kill me if she find out I spent the best part of £800 just to gain a few mm clearance!
