Just seen this post using your exhaust manifolds, didn't realise you did them

Do you have the current price and do you have and complete systems now?

I'll be giving you a call.

The manifolds are out of stock at the moment. As soon as the new batch is cast, the majority of them will be going for fabrication into complete exhaust systems. The complete systems were developed for 2WD and Syncro T25's. The 2wd one also fits late bays. the exhausts have been in production for a long time now. I have sold loads of them. They are designed to be used with the cast sump which I am working on whenever I get a chance. Without the cast sump it is necessary to weld a bracket to a standard Subaru sump, which is not ideal, but does the job.
Be wary of exhausts with only a single small silencer, especially if it's a cheapo stainless Chinese boy racer back box or a bike silencer. I'd guess about 8 customers have tried one of these, and instantly found them unbearably loud.

Thanks Rich, I did call and thanks for your time. I've booked in my loom with you (the one with the wrong ECU plugs which I'm trying to source before sending it to you.)

I've been thinking that it needed a couple of boxes to keep the noise down. but its good to hear confirmation I've got a CSP Phython on my type1 engined beetle and its for too loud for what I want the bus for. I though the above 2 into 1 is neat and straight forward to the first box (i.e I can build it) and then put another under the battery tray as its going in a Split.

There is a picture of them in the pic in the first post of this thread.

They are cast exhaust manifolds, the bits with 'rj' on.

IIRC Rich uses a couple of semi-circle plates mounted onto the engine block. The silencer then clamps onto these.

I can't be more specific, sorry - it was a fleeting glance at one show (we were too busy chatting)

thankyou Happy

its supported with a bracket welded to the sump a shaped plate bolts to this and bands hook onto it and clamp round the silencer the bracet is also supported by two extended bolts through the cam belt covers from the belt idlers (i chose not to use these to and extended the plate to attatch where the power steering pump and alt bracket a bit ott i know)

more pics you can just see the plate and bracket to the right
